Diving Conditions | 21-27 January 2007

Plenty of wobbegongs as per usual. Blue-spotted Stingrays have increased in numbers and can be seen in small groups lying around in sandy patches. Weather A bit of rain at the bginning of the week, but cleared quick-smart. Temperatures are still below average, but very pleasant! Sea Nice and calm, small surf. Water temperature 25°C Visibility 10 – 15 meters

Leopard Sharks took a litle break as the water temperatures dropped due to a cooler current coming past Julian Rocks. There were some Leopard Sharks around this week. A little early, but who cares! Lucky divers saw a Leaf Scorpionfish. A Blind Shark, Blue-spotted stingrays, bullseyes, goatfish, Blue Gropers, pufferfish, moray eels, wobbegongs, bannerfish, surgeonfish, butterflyfish, turtles, Moorish Idols.
