Diving Conditions | 7-13 January 2007

There were some Leopard Sharks around this week. A little early, but who cares! Lucky divers saw a Leaf Scorpionfish. A Blind Shark, Blue-spotted stingrays, bullseyes, goatfish, Blue Gropers, pufferfish, moray eels, wobbegongs, bannerfish, surgeonfish, butterflyfish, turtles, Moorish Idols.


Weather
The first half of the week was overcast and we had some rain. Slowly the temperatures went up and the sun appeared on Thursday.
Sea
A little rough at first with some diving cancelled. As the wind swung around to the S/SE on Tuesday the bay calmed. Cool currents at the beginning of the week
Water temperature
21 – 24°C
Visibility
5 meters at first, but that improved and we had 15 meters from Wednesday.
