Another Leopard Shark (Stegostoma fasciatum) was sighted this week. A large male Loggerhead Turtle was seen on several dives and a large Black Cod tried, unsuccesfully, to hide in the Cod Hole. The Blue-spotted stingrays look very…err…busy. Plenty of nudibranchs to be found at Hugo’s Trench. The large Bullrays are still here. Octopus and White-spotted Eaglerays made an appearance too. Hurray! The first Leopard Shark sighting of the season. Some divers saw it together with a Grey Nurse Shark. A videographers dream, but no footage yet. A large number of small stingrays and sharks on the Main Beach. Hugo’s Trench was very busy with Grey Nurse Sharks; up to 5 individuals at a time.
