Diving Conditions | 11-17 June 2006

Grey Nurse Sharks everywhere, a large school of Devil Rays, another octopus, Squirrelfish, wrasse, including a funny-looking long yellow one, resident Blue Gropers. Plenty of wobbegongs lazying around or swimming.

Plenty of whale action on the surface too. Whales can be seen breaching and spy-hopping from the light house or close-up with on of the whale watching boats.

Cooler weather and rain. Strong and cool S/SW winds. Thursday and Friday were still cool, but sunny.
A bit choppy, some diving was cancelled on Tuesday due to conditions.
Water temperature
19 – 20°C
Around the 5 meters for most of the week. Improving slightly on Thursday to 10 meters.
