Diving Conditions| 20-26 June 2004

More Grey Nurses Sharks this week. Divers saw up to 10 individuals on a single dive. A few White spotted Eaglerays passed by. Lots of Black-spot Goatfish, Bullseye, Turtles and Blue Groupers.

The Humpback Whales are visiting Byron Bay at the moment. The best spot to watch them is from our lighthouse, but they are seen from the dive boats as well.

Weather
Beautiful Byron Bay winter weather with loads of sun and blue skies. Fresh southerly winds. Nights have been a tad cool, but nothing a beanie can’t handle.
Sea
A bit choppy at the beginning of the week, but mainly flat seas for the rest of the week.
Water temperature
19 – 21°C
Visibility
10 – 15 meters.
