Diving Conditions| 21-27 March 2004

Groups of 5 Leopard Sharks were present at the beginning of the week. They all seemed annoyed by the remoras stuck to them. One Leopard Shark was caught “blinking” at the camera.

Large Eagle Rays were around, a numbray was spotted. Also a large Bull ray on Monday.


Weather
At the beginning of the week there were a few cloudy days. Still enough sun for the rest of the week. Strong Southerly winds (SE – SW).
Sea
Great surf, especially from Tuesday till Thursday. For the divers it was a bit rough. Too rough on Tuesday and Wednesday to launch the boats.
Water temperature
25°C
Visibility
Great visibility on Sunday and Monday: 25+ meters. This dropped dramatically to less than 8 meters later in the week.
