Planula Bed and Breakfast Retreat, Byron Bay

Some more manta ray action for the lucky ones…..

Plenty of turtles. And a numbray was fighting with a wobbegong over a spot under a ledge. Guess who won? No further Leopard shark sightings.

The local dolphins were seen from the surface.

Weather

Another hot and humid one. A few clouds and some rain on Sunday. Refreshing Southerly breeze all week.

Sea

The Bay was calm at the beginning of the week, but that changed on Thursday. Friday and Saturday were particularly choppy. Messy surf.

Visibility

Visibility varied from 5 – 12 meters. Friday and Saturday the visibility was at its best.
