Diving Conditions | 5-11 December 2004

If you want to be dive with Grey Nurse Sharks it is still possible! A few of those sharks are still around. The large rays have settled in and can be seen on most dives as well. Plenty of Blue Gropers, turtles (green, loggerhead and hawksbill!!), Old Wifes, the lot.

Heavy rain until Friday morning. Saturday was sunny and hot. High humidity. The strong winds settled on Wednesday.
The Bay was quite rough. Diving was cancelled on Tuesday and Wednesday. From Thursday it was much better.
Water temperature
20 – 23°C
It did get all churned up a bit and visibility was as low as 2 meters in some spots. Saturday it was back up again at 12 -15 meters with only some dirty water on top.
