Just the odd Leopard Shark was seen this week. Lots of wobbegongs, some friendly Blue Gropers, turtles, nudibranch, headshield slugs, ornate ghostpipefish. Heaps of all kinds of fishes, especially on the days that the visibility was low.

A White-spotted Guitarfish was sighted. Pretty unsual as these animals are very shy. More Leopard Sharks, Ornate Ghostpipefish, a large Smooth Stingrays, schools of Cownose Rays, turtles, a couple of species of moray eels living together, several different nudibranchs and a big grouper at the Cod Hole.

A Manta Ray was having a ball at Julian Rocks! Plenty of Leopard Sharks this week as well. A Blue-ringed Octopus was spotted.

More Leopard Sharks than the week before as overall water temps went up a little. Of course most divers and snorkellers got to see the turtles, including our large Loggerhead. Ornate Ghostpipefish have become a common sight.

The Leopard Sharks disappeared for a few days when the water temperature dropped below 23°C. Fortunately there were plenty of other things to see such as all kinds of stingrays, moray eels, friendly Blue Gropers, Green Turtles and a large Loggerhead Turtle, schools of Bream and Black-spot Goatfish.

Large swell all week, especially on Tuesday. Combined with a low tide it was hard to get the boats out.
