Diving Conditions | 25 – 31 March 2007

A Manta Ray was having a ball at Julian Rocks! Plenty of Leopard Sharks this week as well. A Blue-ringed Octopus was spotted. Weather Beautiful weather. You’d think summer had not finished yet with plenty of sun and hot days. Sea Nice and calm. Water temperature 24 – 25°C Visibility 15 – 20 meters

Diving Conditions | 18 – 24 March 2007

More Leopard Sharks than the week before as overall water temps went up a little. Of course most divers and snorkellers got to see the turtles, including our large Loggerhead. Ornate Ghostpipefish have become a common sight. Weather Sunny and warm, just like summer! Sea Calm Water temperature 23 – 25°C Visibility 12 – 15 meters

Diving Conditions | 11 – 17 March 2007

The Leopard Sharks disappeared for a few days when the water temperature dropped below 23°C. Fortunately there were plenty of other things to see such as all kinds of stingrays, moray eels, friendly Blue Gropers, Green Turtles and a large Loggerhead Turtle, schools of Bream and Black-spot Goatfish.
